Re: Always cold

I was cold for about three weeks. A heating pad was my friend. I used on my feet mostly, because they were the coldest. Best item I bought for my recovery. Now I use it on my lower back and swelly belly.

Feels Great!

Hope you get to feeling warmer!

Re: Always cold

I'm a total freeze baby. Always have been and likely always will be. I was on Lupron a couple of times in my younger years and I sometimes welcomed the hot flashes. I don't know if the coldness will change after your surgery, but we can hope right??!!

Re: Always cold

I was always cold before surgery. The anemia, I suppose caused it. This kept going on after surgery for about 5 weeks until my blood levels started climbing back to normal. Yes, for me, it went away. Are you anemic?
My electric blanket was on all the time post-op.
Warm thoughts to you.

Re: Always cold

I was always cold, the one with a sweatshirt on in 90' temps. Was told it was the anemia. I've never seen my hgb above 9.

I'm 6 weeks post op now. Am rarely cold! Even warm when DH is turning up the heat! Dr hasn't run blood yet, I'm anxious to see what my hgb is.

I hope you get the same results! :-)
