Re: Just started Vivelle patch

I'm on it as well at t sure 0.1 mg. I'm 3.5 weeks post op. I had/have headaches as well. But I am a headache-getter, so I"m not sure how much is the patch and how much may just be me. It did seem to get better after the first week, now I have a headache since last night. Ug! Still trying to figure all this out. I do understand that so much has been shifted since surgery and it is hard to tell what a new baseline will be like for several months. Hang in there. Happy to stay in touch if you would like. Take care of you!

Re: Just started Vivelle patch

I started it .375 dose two days ago. It is a low dose so I don't think I have noticed much at all. I think I will give it a week or so to see if I think it's doing anything.

Re: Just started Vivelle patch

I am 5 days post op and have been on the patch .75 dose since Friday. So far I haven't seen any changes so I am hopeful that continues.

Re: Just started Vivelle patch

I started .375 July 3 and so far nothing. My doc wanted me to wait another three months but non-stop hot flashes, crying, mood swings, and being 29 with a child and husband and going back to work don't mix! Hoping I feel better soon. Hope you do too ladies

Re: Just started Vivelle patch

I also had surgery on 6-11 but started with vivelle patches Friday 7/6 and had a migraine yesterday and then almost had one today. I had started having mild hot flashes, emotions and not sleeping. Got upset at hubby this morning, crying, feeling out of control sort of. I'm trying to stick with it tosee what happens and give it a try.

Re: Just started Vivelle patch

Headaches are normal when starting the patch. I also get them when my dosage is upped. For me, they usually go away within a week. Ibuprofen and lots of water seem to help the most.

Re: Just started Vivelle patch

I've been on the patch for almost a month. I've been having the switches between anger and crying since before I went on it and it hasn't gotten better. Beginning to think I need an antidepressant or something.
