3 months post-op, spotting after exercise?

Hello all HysterSisters! This website has been so very helpful during my recovery after a TAH/BSO.

But now I have a problem that I haven't seen on a thread. My recovery has went fairly well, over all, but now I am trying to lose weight. I have been walking on my treadmill, and building up speed and time very slowly.

But yesterday, after only increasing my time by 5 minutes, 45 minutes total, I spotted immediately afterwards. It didn't last long, but I'm still worried. I wasn't walking very fast, less than 3 mph. This spotting also occurred several times when I first started walking at 6-7 weeks post-op.

Has this happened to anyone else with exercising post-op? What does this mean? Am I not healing? I thought after 3 months I'd be done with spotting!!

I'm sorry you're experiencing this, but you're not alone as others have had similar problems, especially when activity is increased.

If you try a Google Search of HysterSisters (towards the top right of every page) you'll find many similar threads to read through, and we also have an HS article <link> Spotting at 3 Months Post-Op which you may find useful.

Have you contacted your doctor yet about this? If not, then I think that would be a wise move as it's the only way to find out, for sure, exactly what's going on.

Will you let us know how you get on? Sending all good wishes and I hope you find an answer and resolution very soon.
