TVH: Finally rescheduled!

Did the treadmill, the EKG, and the radioactive heart scan and got approved for surgery. Finally!

I'm scheduled for December 17, exactly four weeks after I should have had surgery. Thank goodness the fibroid's bleeding has let up some--hope to make it two weeks without anything drastic happening. I'll be so glad to get rid of this thing.

The reason for the funky EKG that postponed my surgery turned out to be a surprise--I have scar tissue in my heart from a silent heart attack. You'd think I'd have noticed. The doctor said to just take baby aspirin and we'll talk about a cholesterol-lowering drug next time I'm in.

Now to figure out how to set my surgery date again on this site

What great news. I bet you are so glad to have that behind you. Waiting can be really hard but better they check you out than discover it during surgery.

looks like we have the same surgery date. i'm glad for the company,
as we countdown to lift-off (or is it lift-out?). Another thing in common,
i need to look at my heart issues too. My gyn doctor said, one thing
at a time, so that will wait 'til after. I'm really looking forward to getting my energy back (to get the anemia controlled), I used to enjoy walking and
going out dancing once in a while, and right now naps are my usual.
So I'm nervous but really looking forward to our date, at the same time.
