I Feel Amazing!!

hi girls! hope you all had a Blessed Easter...ust wanted to check in and see how you all were doing and let you know whats going on with me!-it's been 14 weeks since my total hyster (including ovaries)....ten weeks on 1 mg oral estradiol! i feel great! i'm doing great, little experience with the heart palps induced by too much caffiene. i have cut that back considerably, so those have gone away. no increased weight gain, no mood swings, no hot flashes, sleeping good, hair and skin normal. in fact, i feel so amazing i caught myself telling my daughter i needed to schedule an appt with my dr for a 6 month check up, only to have her say "mom...you dont have anything to check!" and my reply was "oh yeah, i forgot!" lol!!! and the sex? OMG! as george costanza from seinfeld used to say "I'M BACK, BABY!!!! sex is amazing! just like before! i asked my husband if it still felt the same to him. or if it changed or was different and his reply was, "you feel pretty d@mn good to me! *swoon*! as of right now, all the lady bits are working at full capacity! i'm loving my very blessed life! hope my fellow hyster sisters are ding well!

Whoo hooo!! Good too hear that everything is well and you're enjoying the new you & your better quality of life. It is an amazing feeling!!

thanks! a lot of fretting and stressing was going on the first few weeks...too many horror stories and not enough positive ones, but it was all for nothing! had to have an exray yesterday on my back, nothing related but the tech asked me when my last period was and laughed and said dec 2012! that was fun!

I'll bet it was. There are positive stories, unfortunately all of the not so good ones stand out so people get discouraged. Thank you for posting your good one Hope nothing too bad is going on with your back.

i have no idea what ive done, it feels like i have been hit across my lower back with a metal rod....bruised but no discoloration, just a knot...exray was clear and i have wracked my brain trying to think what i could have done! lol its not serious, but oh is it sore!

Rest as much as you can. It's miserable when your back hurts. Mine is sore right now, so I feel you
