6 days post vaginal hysterectomy lower abdomen pain

Hello, this is my 6th post op vh obs
im having discomfort/pressure lower addomen. Feels like something may fall out (sorry be gross)
Is this normal?

It is not unusual to have pressure or discomfort in the abdomen this soon post op but to be safe please give your doctor a call. Also, that feeling of your insides may fall out is pretty common with a vaginal hysterectomy. It is usually from swelling of the vaginal tissues.
