Hysterectomy: June 27th, 2007

Surgery Type: LAVH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

New to this side...

How awful making you hold it for 45 minutes!!! You feel painful enough without having to feel extra gas because some people think everyone has a bm every day (which is not my case). I was an out patient (LAVH). I was home 5 hours after the surgery was completed with a catheter and no bm expected before I left. DH took the catheter out the next morning.

Let me correct myself....I used mineral OIL not mineral spirits!!!!
