Is it just me? Pain after going back to work...

Are any of you on hormone meds? I am so lost concerning that... I really do not feel like myself, and I am starting to get worried.
I think that has everything to do with the insomnia.

I had LAVH on Dec. 11 and went back to work today. I am exhausted, and I definetly feel the pull at my belly button and the need to walk hunched forward. I am with ya sisters! I hope the rest of the week fairs well for us all!

It will get better with time. I had problems trying to return to work also. It was 4 months before I didn't feel like someone beat me at the end of the day. Several ladies have mentioned the insomnia, I've always suffered from insomnia, but it has been worse since surgery. Ice packs helped my sore tummy.

Well, I'm going to the doctor today. I've had it! I couldn't sleep again last night and I feel like a crazy woman. My stomach hardly went down over the night and today it feels so tight. Doesn't really hurt, just feels swollen. I'll let ya know what he says. Boy, I didn't wanna have to go back and whine! Sigh. I don't even know if anything will help!

Go slap the Dr up! (not figuratively!) Tell them everything you have been going through. Get it all taken care of in one shot. Remember, you are the patient and they are there to help you. Lots of hugs...post back and let us know what they said.

I am really worried about going back to work. I had my LAVH on Dec 4 and I go to the dr on the 15th. I do alot of lifting, standing and twisting at work. I already suffer from lower back pain. Just doing a little shopping and housework I am sore and tired. My husband yells at me for doing too much!! But I have to start doing things, I can't lay in bed forever!!

Today was my first day back to work (LAVH Dec 14) and I only went in for 3 hours. I have an office job and I am EXHAUSTED. I don't remember being this tired since the first couple days post-op! I am waiting for my lunch to cook and fighting to keep my eyes open long enough so I can eat before I sleep. I am so happy I decided to go back only 3 hours per day for the first week. Hang in there all.

And yes, sore also. About an hour before I left work I started to feel a burning sensation across my tummy and the belly button feels like it's pulling. The good news is it can (hopefully!) only get better from here!

My biggest issue has been feeling REALLY sick to my stomach and some pulling pains. I am actually regretting having my Dr release me to return but my job was coming close to being in jepordy so I did what I had to. Now at least I can get my work for the day done and not worry about being let go for not being here...

Well, I went to the doc. Strange visit. Still haven't quite figured the guy out. Which is weird since I let him cut me open! Anyway, I'm getting blood work done to check hormones and whatnot. He doesn't think it's that because I'm not having hot flashes. And he wants an ultrasound to check my stomach wall to rule out a hernia. He doesn't think it's that either. He kinda confused me about the swelly belly thing. He said it doesn't happen to many women. Huh? He gave me ambien to get some sleep. Which I REALLY need!!!! I think I will be better if I get a good nights sleep. I am also taking tomorrow off to rest. I really hate going to the doctors. I always feel so stupid! That's why I waited so long anyway. Anyone else have issues with doctors and medicine? I suppose that's a stupid question.......
