Can fibroids cause lower back pain/spasms?

I've been having lower back pains and spasms since about September/October last year. The pain and spasms are getting worse. I just got got diagnosed with fibroids and one of them is 7 cms.
I have been wondering if that's the cause of the pain. I've been to my chiropractor and had massages but they have not worked. I did an all organic diet, which helped minimize it. I'm still eating as organic as possible, but still the pain is getting worse. I have a heating pad every evening, but that is not working either. Took robaxicet, but that just makes me drowsy and still get spasms. I'm getting frustrated because I like to be active and workout but I havent been able to do this for months and my husband and my trainer think I'm just being lazy. My periods are getting worse every month too. I get back pain and spasms when I walk, get up, sneeze, cough or stand. Pretty much anytime. Having my appointment with the gynechologist on July 11 and I cant wait for her options for me. Anyways, I need some advice of what I can do, if there is anything, while I wait for my appointment. I know it might be difficult to know without seeing the ultrasound results, but any advice or comments are appreciated.
