TAH: Tailbone pain with fibroids

Good Afternoon from cold California-

Did anyone experience tailbone soreness after sitting prior to removal of fibroids and/or total Hysterectomy? My desk chair has always been super comfortable but lately it hurts so bad when I get up out of it. The couch at home is the same situation. Thought I would just throw it out there and hope I am not crazy or a "pain in the behind!"

I have tailbone and lower back pain when I sit. It only takes 10 minutes or so before its excruciating. I have severe Endometriosis and my doctor suspects Andenomyosis now too. Hope that helps. Sorry you're hurting so much.

My surgery isn't until Dec 29th which seems painfully far away, literally speaking. In October I went to my general practitioner for abdominal pain, who sent me to my gyn, who ultimately referred me to my surgeon. I had been having an urgency to urinate and low back pain that has continually bug gradually gotten worse for almost a year (all three docs said I have a very high tolerance for pain, which untranslated into me being a bit hardheaded and stubborn).

Had no idea the urinating or back pain was connected with the fibroids I've had for over a decade until the surgeon said one was pressing against by bladder and asked if I had low back pain. I'm nervous but can't wait to get on the other side of the surgery.
