Cramping 9 weeks post op
I am 9 weeks post op. i continue to have mild cramping almost like i am going to start my period. i have had some watery discharge off and on for the last few weeks also. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this so late in your recovery and if it is normal. I still have my cervix also, so i was thinking maybe just cervical mucus. Also, even though i have the discharge, when i try to have intercourse with my husband i am extremely dry. i am not able to take HRT due to endo

Re: Cramping 9 weeks post op
I didn't experience any discharge after about 7 weeks, but that doesn't mean it's not normal. Also, I have no cervix. You should definitely talk to your doctor about it. As for the dryness, that is normal without HRT and ovaries. I use estrace cream and it works like a charm, but it is an estrogen cream. I also have an endo diagnosis, but I do HRT on the theory that my surgeon removed all the endo implants, and I can't even tolerate myself without some estrogen. There are other solutions to dryness. Have you tried OTC moisteners like Replens? Some women say it helps. Of course if you are dry, you should be using lots of lube like Astroglide, else you could be risking irritating your vagina or even a tear. Take care.
