Water, Water Everwhere!!!! Not Fair!

Get this; on the day before we left for vacation, I started my period. This happened last summer and the summer before that. These were also two different weeks in the month. We leave in two weeks for this year's vacation and guess what? I cannot swim because the incision is open at the top. DR says may take several weeks to close. Oh, I would sit buy the side of the pool or shore with my feed in the water. It would not be as enjoyable as a total emersion.

Oh, well! Next year I KNOW I will not be on my period during vacation time. And I'm very sure I will not need any more surgery.

I live in Tucson. I can't get out and do much in the heat because it bothers my heart. I was up at 4 am today so I can get my walk in. LOL I seem to tolerate the heat a little better since the surgery though. I have no idea why.

I like the monsoons too and I like the winters here but I do miss the snow. I used to live in Ky and we would have at least one good snow every year and I just loved it and the cold weather. Now I tend to get cold easier but I don't mind that as much as being hot. It was thundering and lightening this morning. I wasn't sure I would get my 30 minute walk in but I did.

smilinfaces---Where in KY did you live and when? I can't get in the pool yet either . But I go for 5wk chk-up on Monday. Hoping for that clearance to take a dip --I think it's HOT everywhere this yr. We're hoping for some rain soon to cool things down into the mid 80's instead of 95 to 99 (before heat index).Stay Cool

Duckie, I lived west of bowling Green Ky in Rockfield. I see you live in BG. My son still lives over there.

I lived there from 1978-2002. I left my ex and came to Tucson. Oddly enough I was born here in Tucson. I lived out there on Browning Rd from 1981-2002. Before that I lived here and there in BG Ky.

Just keep drinking all that water you cannot go swimming in. Hang in there.
I've heard that about Maine. For the most part you guys have nice weather in the summer. When it gets humid it's just yucky for everybody.

I know what you mean. Here in Massachusetts it has been so hot and humid. Everyone is in the pool. I told my friends that I think when they call to say they are coming to visit, they are actually visiting my pool instead. Ha, Ha! Watch when I can finally go swimming it will be 50 degrees here, hey that's New England for ya!

Your cracking me up Woman! I love duct tape too... but it would hurt like all get out when you pull it off.

When I got past my restrictions and I could finally take a bath what really bit was that we had not remodeled our bathroom yet and I didn't have a great bathtub. If I want anything other than a shower I have to go to a friends house (yes my friends give me visitation rights to their tubs).

GRRR... gotta remodel the bathroom...

I can't wait to go in the pool - the temps have been in the high 90's all week long here, and I sit in the shade and watch my kids swim. Blech! It bites! LOL 2 more weeks, 2 more weeks!
