One week down!

I have officially been home for one week post-op. My surgery was 7-3-2013. I am truly feeling better today. Still not sleeping at all, but I do honestly feel better than I did even 2 days ago. I have noticed a slight headache coming and going throughout the day today. I do get menstrual migraines and am eager to find out if they will change, get better, or hopefully not, worse. I'm just going with the "taking one day at a time" attitude and looking forward to feeling a little better each day.

Congratulations Jdudz a successful surgery. You have the right outlook on your recovery "take it one day at a time" You'll have some good days and some not so good ones, but you'll get through it little by little you'll experience your new and improved quality of life.
Make sure to get plenty of rest, drink plenty of water, walk a little each hour that you're not resting and listen to your body. Take it easy, pamper the princess & happy healing

I had my SAH on 7/3 also. Yesterday was also my 1 week home. I feel better every day. I definitely feel better that I did a week ago I am starting to sleep a little better. Only waking once a night instead of 4-5 times. Hope everyday keeps getting better!

That's the spirit! One day at a time. Had an LAVH Wednesday, but so far I really have not suffered. Blessings and speedy recoveries for all of us.
