Doing better..especially migraines!

Well I am now on natural progesterone cream twice daily and am sleeping much better. I ran out of the estrogen patches and am in the middle of an insurance change so I'm not using them and debating about going back on them when we get the new insurance in place. I am having trouble with hot flashes...my core temperature is definitely up and living in the deep south during this heat wave isn't fun!

The best news of all is that I went to my GP about my migraines..having them at least once a week...and mentioned that beta blockers had helped many years ago, but had to go off of them due to allergy shots. He put me on 80 mg of Inderal once a day and I haven't had a migraine in almost 3 weeks! I am thrilled.

Great news about the headaches! Good luck with the hot flashes. Progesterone alone is usually not enough to help with hot flashes. Perhaps you could ask your doctor for some estrogen samples until the new insurance kicks in.
