Busy times.

Well today i had my appointment to meet my surgeon, she is such a nice person, very easy going and likes a laugh, makes you feel very relaxed. But a few extra things to do. I have to go on monday and have an ECG because of thyroid problems affecting my heart rythem and because im a smoker ( trying to remedy the smoking) and then im to have a Hysteroscopy on the 11th of june, the ultra sound pictures arent clear enough that she can see if there is any thickening of the lining of the uterus. and to get a better idea of how big the fibroids are. She says if there are other problems causing the heavy bleeding my overies might have to go as well, and she wants a clearer idea of wether i will be having a TVH or a TAH. but she wants to know before the surgery date and so all this can be discussed with me. She says she doesn't like surprises....So i will have my pre-op app with her on the 22 july.....Boy what a busy month....

Your surgeon seems very thorough! I think that is terrific. I hope this month flys by quickly for you!

Congrats on having a dr who is thorough. I like the idea of no surprises at surgery
