Is Company good or NOT?

Im so glad my sister found this site.. She also just had surgery less than 6 months ago.. there is so much info here!
this truly was the worst thing i ever encountered the pain is so bad but everyday gets better.. Today is 6 days out and can say i feel so much better than i did. My only problem is that i got a cold from all the company i received at the hospital and here at home. Dont get me wrong so many people are helping me and are wonderful but now i have cold and i cant stop sneezing! And WOW are my staples killing me.. i think the first 2 weeks i should have requested no company... Love this site

Welcome to Hystersisters! I'm glad your sister sent you our way too. It's a shame you caught the cold. I encourage you to do all you can to control those symptoms to reduce stress on your incisions, both external and internal. If you're suffering badly, a call to your dr for some recommendations and meds, especially cough meds if one should develop, might be a good idea.

Make sure you're drinking lots of water. Your body needs it anyway to keep everything functioning well, but with a cold it's going to be even more important. Get up and walk around as you feel up to it and let your body have plenty of rest. I hope you'll get to feeling better soon. Keep us posted on your progress.
