Nervous stomach

I bought some flushable moist wipes for my BC on Monday, but I have a little 'nervous stomach' already and those wipes are burning! I just picked up some of the witch hazel pads for hemerrhoids. Anyone have any other tips?

All of your nerves, fears, and emotions are very normal. This is a tough surgery to face and process. Keeping yourself very busy helps take your mind off what is coming. Also, watch favorite DVDs to distract yourself.

Get the flushable wipes a little more wet when you are ready to use them. I did that and it worked like a charm! A good barrier ointment, like vaseline, can keep the area from being sensitive without medication.
