5.5 weeks post hysterectomy: Muscles twitching

Hi, I'm 5 1/2 wks. post op and I've been getting muscle twitching (random in my legs, arms..) since about a week post op. I mentioned it to my doctor at my appt the other day and he said it's a symptom of low estrogen. Anyone else having this? I really don't want to go on HRT and am hoping my one ovary "wakes up" as the doc didn't see follicles on my ultrasound and thinks it's not functioning. I'm also having some hot flashes but am starting to see vag discharge again so am hoping that's a good sign? If you're in menopause, does all vaginal discharge go away?

I would get this before my surgery. Try taking some magnesium. You can get them in the vitamin area. It helps with twitching muscles, good for your bones and prevents constipation!
