ery swollen lower belly at 3.5 weeks

sore, very swollen lower belly right above the stitches. It hurts! Not awful but annoying.

I hate to tell you that this is totally normal and it might be months before it completely goes away. The swelling is caused by the inflammation that your body produces in order to protect itself. However, if the swelling increases in soreness, please contact your doctor because it might not be simply what we call swelly belly. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

Sara- I also have ! I had lavh on Nov.28th . It will get better, and go down in time , as long as you take it easy and relax slow down - don't push yourself. You only have 1 time to heal right, and you want to do it right the first time, without any setbacks . Good- luck, and healthy healing. Don't 4get to pamper the
