Two days post hysterectomy: Feels like something will fall out

Whenever I have to go pee or pushing a little for BM it feels like something is going to fall out. I do have a few stitches in vagina along with the ones in my cuff and its only 2 days post op so I know there is swelling. I didn't have any prolapse issues prior and was told my pelvic muscles were very strong.( Thank you pilates ). So it could be normal? I had one ovary attached to my pelvic wall and one to my sigmoid colon. But she had no issues releasing them. They were coming out anyway. Anyone have any thoughts for me?

It shouldn't feel like something will fall out. Call your doctor or his nurse and ask them about it. Also get something like prune juice, Miralax or Colace to help with constipation so you won't have to strain. I'm still nervous about straining at 5 weeks.

I have prune juice and dulcolax . What I'm feeling is stitches . I told het it felt scratchy a couple inches inside .That's where the vagina tear was stitched .

Re: Two days post hysterectomy: Feels like something will fall out

It could be from the stretching of the vagina. When I strained a little for a BM about week 3 I felt if I kept up I would pop something. I was wondering if he had done an episiotomy or something like that. He said no, it was just from the vaginal stretching.

Eventually you may feel like you have a tampon stuck in the vagina opening
