pain with no visible cause plz help

I have a place in the middle of my incision taht feels like broken glass in it, I have no fever, its not hot or red or swollen, my incision is healed except for where the stitches poke out of my skin.

they are internal stitches. the dissolving kind. in a few places they are close to the surface and my skin wont close around them.

Both the extreme right and left ends of my interal incision is painful. like a deep deep bruise so that when I walk or move it causes pain and I kind of freeze in place and then move slower.

I have a knot on my right side at the end of my incision right near my hip area.

My doc says everything looks great and I have no reason to be in pain.

anyone else had any of these problems?

I read your other post on my topic. I really think you should be going to doc. I had a stitch poke out and they clipped it off so my insicion would heal. If you skin can't close you can't heal completely. If your doc won't listen maybe the ER or another doc?

No offense to your doctor, but at 2 weeks i was still taking prescription pain meds every 4 hours, and was just beginning to think about going every 6 hours....it was a full 5 weeks before I was able to go with just advil....and now at 13 weeks still need advil off and on depending on the day...

If you still have open places with stiches poking out, you may need to chat with your doctor again....sorry you are having issues...hope you get some relief soon.
