Another Newbie Here

Hi...
I am new here and I am hoping that I meet a lot of new friends who can share their thoughts and feelings on everything to do with hysterectomies.
I will be getting my surgery date on 9/11 so I am just in the very, very beginning stages. Yes I am a little scared but I know that this is going to eleviate the heavy bleeding, the fibroids, and the severe cramps I have had to endure over the past year.
But right now, today, I will concentrate on sending out my prayers to the families whose loved ones lost their lives on that awful day one year ago. My thoughts and prayers will also be going to the heroes of 9/11 who gave their lives to save others and to those who made it through that day safely only to continue to help save the sick and injured on a daily basis.
They were and continue to be my Emergency Services brothers and sisters, Police Officers, Search and Rescue Teams, and countless others.
