6 post op & going down hill

Hi ya, just looking for a bit of advice. I am 30, had uterus, tubes and cervix removed 6 weeks ago but ovaries kept. I felt great from the day after the op, my energy up, skin looked better, nails started to grow, sex drive up (although didnt do anything) mood very positive and overall feeling great. The only other time i felt this good was during both of my pregnancies. However, about a week ago I started going down hill. I am in tears most of the time, nails are brittle again, skin dry & sex drive non existent :-( whats happened and why have I gone down hill so quickly :-( could this point to hormone problems? Thanks x x x x

Re: 6 post op & going down hill

It is possible your ovaries are reacting to a reduced blood supply that hysterectomy can bring. It could be all along it was like that but you didnt know because your body may have hormone stores it was using that are finally used up (hope that makes sense). Best thing is to contact your dr and have your levels checked.
