TVH: Scheduled today

for 11/16. Boy am I scared!!!!!

I can relate... the day I scheduled mine I sat in my car shaking and crying for like a half hour before I could move... I just remind myself every day that it isn't in my head and there really is a reason and as soon as I'm healed from the surgery the pain will (hopefully) be over... hang in there

Hey, you are scheduled to be done two days before I am! Congratulations! I have many fears as well, but I know that we are going to be just fine. I just joined the site and have had such an outpouring of love and support it's unbelievable. Keep reading, and going. The time will be here before you know it, and it will be over with, and life can begin!

I feel a little better after tossing and turning all night. It's like there's a big worm named Hysterectomy in my brain.

I'm going to have a going away party for my uterus. It'll be fun- and I'm laughing this morning because my purse is bulging with tampons and maxi pads that I stole from the bathroom at the gyn's office-

I'm not going to need them. Totally passive aggressive of me and totally good for a giggle this morning!!!

Your last post SL made me laugh. I too had a stash of pads & tampons, then my Gyn. put mo on Progesteron so I could finally quit bleeding until my TVH. Inbetween all of the fears & tears I thought great I can just give all of these t's&p's to a friend who'll need them cause I won't anymore. HA! HA! Then she gave me the uterine biiopsy & I have not quit bleeding yet. But now I can actually use the t's cause my cervix isn't hanging too low as it does with periods.

Sorry to burst your bubble but don't give them away at your party 'till its all done & over. I'm set for 9-23 it'll sure be good to get on the other side!!! Glad you're with us.

Best wishes for a great surgery. The waiting is the worst. Take the time to organize your house & try to keep busy.
