Home 24 hours now w/questions

I had a TAH kept ovaries. I had a total melt down 2 days after surgery cried and cried. My nurse asked "Did he take your ovaries?" When I said NO she just left the room. What a nice nurse huh? I think there was so much going on in my body that thats what it took to settle me down a bit. I am almost 3 weeks and doing pretty well. My hormones have kicked back in. I have been very at ease with this whole process and have tried to stay relaxed and take things as they come and not get to upset if things don't go as I planned. I always ask myself "will it matter in a year?" if not I let it go. Oh Well!~ You'll get there take it easy!

i had a truss for lack of a better word that you could pull tight and velcro under that i had the steri gauze thing from the drug store. My inci was vert i am not sure if that makes a diff or not. I'm also fluffy and the extra fold helped hold the gauze on... see there is a reason to be larger

Hi Tigger - glad you're home. OMG - I was totally fine in the hospital but cried on day 2 and day 3. Felt like I wasn't even in the same home I left (weird huh?). Anyway, on day 4 went out to dinner and it truly made me feel somewhat normal again. Since then it's been better every single day. No more crying and gradually feeling like my old self - just a little slower. It'll get better -hang in!!!
