Tomorrow's the Big Day!!!

Okay ladies, tomorrow's the big day (10-26) and as of yet I'm not nervous. I've cleaned everything in the house, got my tasks at work current, but still wonder if I've forgotten to do anything.

Fortunately, I've got a great job. I will be working from home when I'm up to it and can take my time healing.

I can't wait for this thing to get started so I can feel better. Anyway, see you on the other side!!!

Good Luck! I can tell your ready. Tired of feeling bad all the time. It IS a lot better on the other side!

Tomorrow is "H" day for me too!

Although I am a bit nervous (more about how it will go for my kids without me there than how it will go for me), I am soooo ready!

My surgery is at 9:30 a.m. so I should be out of recovery and getting good drugs this time tomorrow!

Good luck and keep us posted on your recovery. I hope to be back on line shortly after I get home. How long has the Dr. indicated you will be staying in the hosp? I am hoping to be out in two days, but he said it may be three. We will see.

Good luck ladies! I will be praying for both of you. Trust me the most painful thing b4 surgery is the stupid IV. he he he 3 months post op and doing well!

I'm having a TVH and will be keeping my ovaries. Doc says a 23 hour stay. Only thing is my surgery is scheduled for 2:30 in the afternoon. Nothing to eat or drink after 5am in the morning. I can handle going without the food, but the water will be torture.

I'm a Kentucky Sister also ! I'll keep you in my prayers. My TAH is scheduled for next week 11/3. Let us hear from you as soon as you are back from the castle.

I just had my surgery (endometrial ablation) on Friday, 10/22/04, so I am still recovering.

Hope things turn out well and you will have a speedy recovery.

Surgery went well on 10-26. It took about an hour. It was scheduled for 2:30 pm and they sent me home @ 10:00am the next morning. Everything is going great but my biggest hurdles since being home are gas and constipation but I'm hanging in there. It's not near as tough as I thought. I've been very fortunate. God is good!!!
