Today I had my hospital pre-op and labs done, hour before that I had my pre-op physical with the assisting doctor. What amazed me was how nervous being at the hospital made me. I just kept thinking about how very soon I'd be there for surgery! The pre-op nurse also said that the doc might possiably do a rectocell repair
.
Also, the assisting doc said that with all the pain I am having in my non-dermoid ovary that it might have to be removed too...which means surgical menopause! Oh boy, I don't know if I feel numb emotionally or feel like running far away!
The one thing I do know is that this constant pain I am in is for the birds and I just want it to STOP!
So far they schedualed 3 1/2 hours for surgery, the procedures are as follows:
LSH/LSO possiably BSO
Ureathal sling
Perineorraphy
labiaplasty
And possiable rectocell repair
I think I might be kinda sore afterwards
My DH is being so very supportive and loving, he is going to stay overnight with me in the castle and he said that there will be no visitors for at least the first week. He might end up becoming a bit overprotective, but that's o.k. for awhile. He took two weeks vacation to take care me. I am blessed!!!
Has anyone out there had a labiaplasty done? I would really like to know what to expect as far as post-op recovery etc.
