HELP! 5 weeks post-op and copious clear discharge

Twice today I have felt like a peed my pants. All of a sudden I had this very watery, clear, non-odorous discharge come flying out. I have had nothing remotely close to discharge, blood, etc. for the last five weeks…now this all of a sudden. I called my doctor's office and talked with the nurse who said that it is "natural discharge". But it is so sudden..I thought discharge sort of trickled? I am very worried. No other pain, etc. It soaked straight through my underwear in minutes. Has anyone had anything similar---weeks after surgery?

I haven't had it thus far but I did have this before the surgery. I always got it a few days after my period so I always called it my "after period". As long as it isn't thick and smelly I wouldn't think it was anything to worry about. It's probably just as she said. Take care.

I was like that last week. It was real thin and had a weird odor, not fishy. I had my post op appt today and the doctor said I had a slight bacterial infection so I don't know if that is what caused it. I am like you I have no bleeding and generally no discharge until then. I tried pantyliners but that was a joke it couldn't hold it all so I started using pads. It may be normal or it may have been the infection so I would call the dr.if I were you.
