Hi there

Ah, I love having long conversations with my fur-baby Although, mostly it's me talking and him falling asleep in my lap. You're right about great attitudes helping. I was very optimistic going into my surgery, and I've had a very uneventful recovery. Only set-back was me bending over when I shouldn't have and popped a few internal stitches. Let that be a lesson to all of you, don't bend at the waist for several weeks. It is very painful.

So Everything is going ok now. Did they have to restitch you. Thanks for the warning. I keep thinking I should do something. But talk myself out of it. At least my dogs mellow she's 12. Unlike my Frend the kitten. Hell on wheels. hee hee

Hi there

The stitches I popped were internal. The doc said they would heal on their own. I know the feeling, needing to do something. I'm usually a very active person, but I have learned to take it easy and pamper myself these past 6 weeks. You only have one chance to heal properly, so don't overdo things.

Hi there

Thanks. Sometimes its hard to sit back and relax, But I'm learning. Maybe I should have done this along time ago, Think I'd learn . I've had 4 other surguries the past 5 years but went back to work after the 2 weeks. This time I'm not going to do that. Taking 6 weeks off . Then I might ask to work parttime for a month.

Hi there

Hi! I had my TAH on September 19th also. I feel the same way. I have a yellow lab who is about 2 and she is loving me being with her. I have been feeling great. I had a ureter problem that required a stent due to fibroids invading my pelvis. I have been walking a block or two twice a day.

Hi there

13Starz, we're glad to have you. and you will too!!! This website is the best! I've been able to fill my recovery days by chatting with my friends here. I had NEVER chatted online before. It was all new to me, but so much fun. There is loads of support from women who are experiencing the same thing as you. Take care of yourself, and keep talking to us!!
