Feeling so much better! Natural aids...

A fellow hyster-Sister suggested the Homeopathic remedy of Arnica Montana, to aid in the healing of soft tissue...(store attendant said make sure you have at least 15 minutes before and after of no food) and raspberry leaf tea (the box says 3 cups a day, 1 cup per bag steeped 15 minutes!) strong, but good. I have done this for a day and a half, could it be a coincidence? I think not! I am feeling a LOT better!

I suppose one should run it by their Dr. just to make sure...

for joy!

Feeling so much better! Natural aids...

Hi, I am so glad you are feeling better! What is aronic montana?? (not sure I spelled that right) So you take both, that and rasberry tea? or just rasberry tea?
I think that sounds good, my Dr. put me on an antibiotic for deep tissue healing and perhaps a infection. I had to stop the meds. 6 days into it cuz it made me feel terrible. but the my insides felt better. I hope this makes a little sense.
Please let me know more about the home remedy stuff, how muce ect...

Thanks Stacey

Feeling so much better! Natural aids...

Hi Hoogie! It is Arnica Montana... I didn't know what it was either, but i sent my DsweetH in to the health food store and asked him to ask... It turns out that it is an "Homeopathic" medicine. They are tiny little sweet tasting pills, (lots of them per bottle) you put 4 of them under your tongue and let them dissolve. No food within at least 15 minutes before or after (very important). Do this 4 times a day. I know it may sound crazy, but I felt better really quickly. The raspberry tea is from the leaf, not the sweet stuff that comes in a bottle. The brand he bought me is from "traditional Medicinals" The directions say to brew 1 cup each bag and steep for 15 minutes. It tastes kind of like green tea, made very strong. 3 cups a day for the medicinal value. I am amazed... never was convinced of homeopathic medicine, but my daughter swore that the one I bought her for allergies years ago worked for her. From what I understand, it gives you a tiny bit of the thing that is bothering you in a weakened form, and thus, the body kicks in to action to heal itself. Thats all I know... let me know if you try either and how YOU feel!

I am so happy to hear that the natural remedies are helpful.
(hi Cathy)

Valerian, some may remember their grandmothers using for treating feelings of melancholy.
So if your a bit sad and aren't interested, or that bad off that you need a doctor's meds try some valerian in drops or homeopathic form, or in tea.

Rescue remedy which is available in drops that you take in a little water or directly under the tongue, or in a cream that you rub into your wrist or any thin skin is good for those "out-of-sorts" feelings one gets, pre-surgery,post-surgery, "emotional crises" is how the company describes it.
This is not a hormone cream. It is a combination of 5 flower essences made from the Bach company.
Good stuff
