2months postop and starting to get really discouraged...

Why did I not get the transfusion......I am always afraid of getting something like Hep. C or HIV..I know they screeen the blood first but I used to work in the medical field until I had my children and I can remember some cases of giving blood transfusions to my patients and on 2 separate occasions they both got Hep. C form their transfusions.
However, if it doesn't come up significantly in the next 2 weeks my Dr. has already told me that I would have to have 2 units no if's and's or buts. So i guess we will see.

today has been a little better day than the last 2. My husband apoligized for his insensitive behavior yesterday(his words not mine) and he cooked me a lovely breakfast this morning and then I went to the grocery store with him and came home and rested. Right now he is making me my favorite homemade cookies(peanut butter) and is going to make me a strawberry dacquri(sp?) later tonight. My pain has not been quite as bad today..so all in all a better day. I will jus be glad when the day comes that I can say that I have not hurt at all today. Just have to be patient until that day comes I suppose and so I may be in trouble as I am NOT a patient person..lol
