Finally Approved!!!

Hi Ladies!

I just received a letter from my new insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield--not my insurance of choice!).

They have FINALLY approved the rescheduled surgery date of July 11th!!! YEESSSSSS!!! It's still a ways off, and I'm not so sure I've got the strength to hang on til then....but I'm gonna give it my best shot!

So hopefully, on July 11th, I'll get this 5-month-pregnant-sized-fibroid-filled uterus OUT!!!!

I am so happy for you that you got your approval. What a relief it must be for you. And yes it is a relief to get the englarged uterus's out etc. Mine was a 10 weeks size.

That is great news! Congratulations!

It's unfortunate that we have to wait and hold our breath that the insurance companies will approve. I understand why, it just adds stress to an already stressful situation.

I am 5-weeks post-op TAH for the removal of a 4-month sized fibroid and a bunch of smaller ones. While it's at times a little wierd to me to be missing some of my parts, I'm relieved to know that all the funky stuff growing inside of me is gone.

I hope the time goes by as quickly as possible for you. Hang in there!
