I thought the same thing. I'm 38 and just had all my stuff removed. I was worried about the facial hair all that drama. But the truth is what my uterus and ovaries were doing to my body wasn't good either and I didn't have time to prepare for that. So figure I accepted the issues before, so accept the new set of issues after. I would rather be bald with a beard that to have to continue living with what was happening before. I didn't realize what be severly anemic for years was doing to my body. My heart was up to 110 beats per minute just sitting still. It has already went down to 85 in just two weeks. My heart couldn't continue doing that before. Not only that I work with the public well my immune system was shot so I was always sick. Not counting the good times I missed out on bc of the bleeding. I may have just traded one set of issues for another. Who knows may be the best issues of my life. I hope your surgery went excellent. Wishing you the best recovery

My dr put a Climara patch on me before I left the hospital. I am to change it once a week. I set a weekly reminder on my phone... This is my first HRT so I'm not sure I can help with other questions, but that one I could ! Lol good luck!
