I have prevailed....

I survived the Lap and Hysteroscopy. Thanks for the nice thoughts and the prayers. Dr. found what she knew she would. She kept saying to me and to my DBF, "I can't believe they won't approve this."

I came in to work this morning to all my email, and there is one from Friday from my benefits counselor who wrote, "Your appeal has been processed, services have been approved". SO....I get to have this mess removed for once and for all. :sigh:

I will let you know when I get a date, and keep you informed. Thanks again ladies for your kind thoughts and prayers.

I am so happy that things went well last week! But sorry that your insurance company put upi thru it. Heres hoping to a date real soon!!

thats great news. the insurance companys end up spending more at the end dont they? plus put u thru all kind of grief. i had to have a d&c plus a hystrescopy also. had nothing to do with the 10cm mass on my tube. but they make u do the crap! glad to hear its done. hope u get a date soon

My new surgery date is April 3rd. I could have gone for the week of the 20th of March, but I want time to heal from the Lap. I am happy that I can finally see light at the end of this dark tunnel. I got pictures, it is kind of cool to be able to give "faces" to the interlopers who are staging this mutiny within me. They are most certainly a motley crew.

I have three weeks to "prepare". My boyfriend was absolutely WONDERFUL during/after my Lap. I can't have asked for a more attentive, caring, loving individual to have at my side. I know now that he will absolutely be there for me during my recovery, so that fear is gone.

Thank you ladies for your prayers. I am so very glad this is almost over.

Congratulatoins on your new surgery date- it is just a pity it took your Insurance Company so long to agree and that you had to have the extra surgery. The next few weeks will fly I am sure . Just be sure not to overdue things and let yourself heal.
