Re: 4 week post op appt this week, I'm afraid he will release me go back to work.
I had a different surgery, a total laprascopic surgery Sept. 5th. Oh man, I went back to work just after 3 1/2 weeks. BIG mistake. I worked a couple of days and ended up back at my OB's office in major pain from my vaginal cuff. I have a desk job and it hurt more and more each day to sit. I'm supposed to go back tomorrow, but we will see how it goes. I might work a half day. Sounds to me like your intuition is telling you to stay home, stay home. Just be firm about it. It's not your MD's body, it's yours. Stay home lady. Take it easy please.

Re: 4 week post op appt this week, I'm afraid he will release me go back to work.
I am 4 weeks out and will be returning to work tomorrow! I could not be more excited. After my 2nd week I was feeling great. I have lots of energy and do not take naps. I do get headaches and have a hard time sleeping, but my doctor gave me something to help. I get a little sore here and there but not much. I am lucky my job is 10 min from my house and my boss is flexible (he is also a good friend for 5years). I hope you get to feeling better. I have a feeling my age has something to do with recovery. Doc says everything looks great and I am healing great. I did not get out and start walking until 2 weeks so maybe that had something to do with it. Either way good luck and I hope you start feel better soon.
