Cramping going into week 5 of hysterectomy recovery,Normal?

Although my recovery seems to progressing normally, hysterectomy with cystocele & rectocele repair for prolapse, given I went into early menopause at 46, (53 now), both ovaries removed. Went for 4 week check up, abdominal scar healing well, no pain, vaginal stitches starting to fall out, internal w dissolve, I can't seem to get my digestive system back on track I started a lactose free diet 4 weeks ago, although I have never had a lactose problem before) and have had a very bland diet but most everything gives me cramps that mimic contractions. Some days better than others, Bowel movements ok but inconsistent. Have lost weight and can't afford to loose anymore.. Yes, have call into my GYN and even provisional app with gastroenterologist on Wed, but just want to know if anyone has experienced this. At this stage just need a clear head and to know that there is nothing else wrong..
