wierd cervic cramp ..

hi I too had those sensations after my surgery it was usually because I had done too much. I thought because I had no pain I could do more, how wrong I was please take it slow you must be patient and allow yourself to heal. It is 7 months since mine and I still get sensations and strange feelings. If you are worried please call you doctor and listen to what your body tells you. I wish you a very speedy recovery. Jean x

wierd cervic cramp ..

Hi SNW,

At 3 1/2 weeks I had a similar pain. The best way I could describe it was that it was a vertical cramp and definitely in the cervical area (which was taken) so I assumed it was the cuff. Not like anything I had experienced before. All other pains seemed to run across my belly area from side to side but this was specifically up and down. All things considering I would have to say it was the worst pain I had post-op and I had to take a couple pain meds to get me through the night. It took about 24 hours and disappeared.

Hope your feeling better soon. If not, don't hesitate to call your doctor.

I had what I can best describe as a pulling sensation a couple weeks post op. It would feel like it was too tight up there. I think it was just the healing going on, because everything was fine and the dr said it was healing great. I'd say it stopped after about a week or two.

I figure it's always best to be sure. I was worried about pain the second time I had sex and went in. It was all fine, but I had to be sure!
