5 days post hysterectomy & BSO: Nausea and Hot Flashes all at once

Had a Total Hyst via robotics 5 days ago.

Since yesterday i get nauseous and hot flashes simultaneously. Is this normal? I am worried.

I don't know but I had TLH on Friday Jan 22 and I've had that sensation. I took gravol, opened the window in -10c weather and went to bed.

That sounds normal to me. In the early days before I started HRT and even after I did get started, but before my estrogen leveled out, I used to get nausea with some of my more intense hot flashes. I think some of it was because they scared me, and some was just that they were so intense. I don't have such intense hot flashes anymore, but I remember them well.

Are you using any HRT? or do you plan to?

I m so happy to have read your response. What i do is lie and relax and eventually it goes away. So much relaxing is tiring, though. I feel so tired of staying home.
