In the castle!

sitting here in my hospital room, all blood work done, had a massage and am 1st surgery of the morning for my team - 7:30 am. Met with anesthesiologist and gyn - lol - told Dr. "I'm NERVOUS" and he said "well, I'M not nervous!" heh. typical Belgian response. Anyway - I guess they're gonna drug me up tonight so I can sleep.

they took a ton of blood samples. I don't remember that much being taken for any other surgery. like 9 vials! OW! knock it off! I have to shave off all my pubes tonight - that's gonna itch growing back in, just to add to general discomfort. Will be an interesting 5 days as it appears my nurses know very little english and my french is just awful.

Ovaries KNOW something's up...they've been acting up all day and my girls are generally pretty quiet.

Hey Ladies -

I'm 24 hours post-op. Can't write too much because the computer/med combo is making me dizzy, but wanted to let you know that I'm having a relatively easy time - very crampy and tired, but nothing too terrible.

For those of you feeling the nerves....it'll be ok. It's not a picnic, but it's not completely awful!
