Swollen Belly

Hi Ladies,
It took until the end of Sept to mid Oct for my swelly belly to be gone. And I took it easy. I went back to work at the end of August and just the different things I was doing gave me swelly. At the beginning of Nov I started working out at the gym and there are still some excerises and machines I can't do without noticing some kind of swelling.
It does go away, so don't worry. And believe me, we have all been there and can't wait for it to go and don't think it will ever go...but it does!
Hang in there. Life is soooo much better now!

My Dr. told me that it isn't uncommon to see a little blood up to six weeks, but if you can fill a pad with in an hour go to the ER. I did see blood a couple of times. I just would put myself on bed rest for two days. It always got better. I am now five week post op.

OMG ladies, I can also relate. I'm four weeks post LAVH + ovaries + bladder TOT and pelvic repair. I was looking 6 months preggers for a while, now I look about 3 months...lol. I have to go back to work next week and don't know what the heck to wear! This swelly belly is like a cruel joke from mother nature, making you look like something you can't do/can't have. Anyway, I'm looking for a good line in case s/one asks if I'm preggers, I'm toying with the answer to "when are you due" as "five years ago" (that's the age of my youngest). I'll let you know how that goes...lol!

I have noticed that if I behave and stay off my feet, my belly is a lot smaller than if I've been letting gravity do it's thing and poof out the stomach, etc.
