Happy now!!!!

Surgery was yesterday...i remember very little except I woke up hungry at midnight and they gave me a soda and ice cream! I was in bad pain earlier when they brought me out if recovery...anestisia gave me a migraine. But today I have been peeing, and walking the room and halls. It's not as bad as I thought it would be. Hope everyone else is doing good!

I have not asked for pain meds since 3 a.m....so I think I am doing good! It is getting easier to get around....I will go home at 5 today

HI there "Happy Now." I was wondering if everything kept going smooth for you? I had my lapro hysto on June 5th, so I am only 5 days out. But doing good. I walk twice a day...a little achy right now...so may have overdone it.

Just wondering after your last post if all continued to go well. I sure hope so!

Girl...I went back to work at 2 weeks, healed up completely with absolutely no problems. Never any bleeding...and didnt take pain meds except at night. It was the best thing I ever did. Wish I had done it 20 years ago lol. Good luck to you!!!

Wow! Amazing recovery. Thanks for responding. I'm a runner and in decent shape so I'm hoping I can zip through this like you. Wish I did it a long time ago as well!

Hahaha..I am overweight...and by far am I overly active in any way lol. I was sure I would lay around for the full 6 weeks....but I amazed myself by getting along so well. I guess I was just so happy not to have anymore darn periods...it gave me a boost lol.
