Rapid pulse /waiting for cardiologist appt

So Its been one week since my trip to the ER and stay at hospital. I am waiting for my appointment with a cardiologist. In the meantime I take my BP and pulse a few times a day. My heart rate this morning was 120 while sitting. No hot flash, just rapid beating. Later in the day it was 95.I'm assuming that no estrogen is to blame.I can't take HRT because of previous breast cancer and complex hyperplasia recently. My pulse before surgery ran around78-85 range.Occasionally in the 90s. I feel faint sometimes when this happens. That's why I ended up in the ER...almost blackand legs giving out and rapid heart rate.So what do I do while I'm waiting for an appointment? I'm 6 weeks post op today. The 1st episode I had of this was a few weeks after my d and c in April. So I'm not sure what is going on.Any thoughts?

Re: Rapid pulse /waiting for cardiologist appt

I'm not sure whats going on. I typically run anywhere from 90-98. I am 5'6" and weigh 117lbs. My blood pressure is usually around 107/58. Since I have been biking every night my resting pulse has come down. Please get clearance from your cardiologist before starting any type of excersize.
