24 days post hysterectomy: Discharge???

I am on day 24. Three weeks out from robotic Surgery. I have had a brownish discharge since day 3. Is anyone else having this issue? Also, I have a swollen belly. It went down after week one and this week I am all swelled up again.

Re: Discharge???

It's normal to have light bleeding/spotting for up to 6 weeks. Call the doctor if you notice a foul odor to your discharge or it's heavy (soaking a pad an hour). Otherwise, some bleeding is okay.

It's also normal to have a "swelly belly." This can actually last for months. Some women notice it more if they've had an active day. I'm 6 months post-op and still have a slight swelling. But, I can fit into jeans again so the little pooch doesn't bother me. It sounds like you're having a normal recovery!
