Sitting for a period of time

I am scheduled for abdominal hesterectomy on Wed., June 14th, and my husband has knee surgery in July. Our meeting with the hospital for his surgery is June 24th at the time we set this up I wasn't set for surgery (came as a necessity) so I am wondering will I be able to sit through the meeting?

i am now 10 days out and feel well enough to sit for an hour or two. You should have no problem meeting with your husbands surgeon. If need be, excuse yourself and take a short walk and come back.
