TVH 6 Months Post-Op Today!

Hello all, today makes it 6 months since my hysterectomy; and I've never felt better ! Compared to 6 months to a year ago, I've been out of work because of my fibroids and menoraghic episodes. Had to receive 2 units of blood because I was very anemic. So as you can see, never been happier! I've had some hot flashes that's it, mild ones

That is great. I had "a fibroid" when my daughter was born 20 yrs ago and didn't realise that the problems I have been having for the last 10-15 yrs could be connected. I thought I was menopausal until I almost heomerrhaged one day a few months ago and finally sought help.
Cannot believe I didn't feel or know that my womb was packed with fibroids and very enlarged.
I realise now why I always felt so drained, emotional, achey, bloated and bled so much. If I could turn the clock back I would have had this done ten yrs ago.
I feel as if my life is about to begin again.
