Butterflys in tummy!

Hi all, going in on saturday for my TVH, i'm off the walls!!! I'm getting really nervous and i am working all week, can't seem to keep my mind on my job or anything else for that matter. Anyone got any good suggestions? Thanks Tracey x x

Staying busy helped me a lot. Don't forget a bit of pre pampering for yourself. Do something that you enjoy. It can be something as simple ( & nice ) as a long fragrant bath, candles and soothing music. I also enjoyed lunch & movies with friends.I treated myself to a nice new pair of comfy jammies. Do something that is special to you.

I felt the same way before my TVH. i dont know how to keep your mind off it , so this may be poor advice, But keeping busy helped....i cleaned and made meals ahead for family and shopped ahead and had my room ready and stuff for me to do after( crocheting and scrapabooking and dvds and soduko book), flavored water and a heating pad...I bought a few larger underwear..loose so as not to press down and to hold the pads. since i didnt have an abdominal I used my own undies in the hospital. GOOD LUCK and i hope the time passes well for you !

Hi...I understand your feelings. I was a wreck the few days before my hyst. The waiting is the worst. I wish I had a magical answer for you. Just try to stay busy. Saturday will be here before you know it. Best wishes and good luck on your trip to the castle.
