home sweet home (kinda of long)

hi all I'm so glad to be home. Trip to castle went picture perfect.
All except for the wait to go back to pre-op that was kinda of long all else went well. Dr listen to my fears about drugs. nurses were great to me. By the way the caslte I went to had a step up from heated blankets they had heated gowns.....Yeah.. they were paper gowns with these vents for this heating tube to hooks up they stayed warm but not hot, it worked so great.. it was called bair paws. any way surgery was quick and good the dr said everything went smoothly. after urgery they had a problem keeping my bp up but that was due to a seperate condition and they did get me fixed up after a couple hours . My castle has a new program called a observation area for shot stay surgery recovery patents, it was very nice. I felt I got good attention because there was 1 nurse for every 2 patents and also a tech for evry couple of nurses. I had my surgery at around 3:30 on friday and got to come home around noon today.the doc said rest at home was best as long as that was what I was comfortable with. I found a lot of the advice for pre-surgery and it really helped alot. I had no problem farting a even buzzed the nurse to let her know and she said because I had a TVH instead of a TAH that it didn't matter , but good for me anyway.( I couldn't stop laughing ... it hurts to laugh) anyway to all out there going to the castle soon you can have a good trip. I guess I should have put this in the tell us yourr hysterstory... too late now. Anyway good luck and best wishes to all C
