I too am emotional. I am glad to know it is normal. I am 31 years old with two small boys.

I have a loving husband and wonderful friends.

I thought what is wrong with me. This is for the better.

I had a lap on July18th. It was discovered I have varicose veins behing my uterus and endo on the blood vessels surrounding it. Also, endo in the lining of uterus.

On Oct. 13th, I will have TAH/RSO.

Any advice and good thoughts are welcome.

It is nice to know I am not alone.

I'm glad that your surgery is over with and that everything is okay now. Thank you for the tip, it is difficult to wait. I am thrilled that when my doctor and I decided on the hysterectomy, we were able to schedule my surgery within three weeks!

I can't wait until I am three months post op!

I don't have any advice for you, I'm having my TVH on the 15 of September, '08, but good thoughts and best wishes on your surgery Mel.
