surgery canciled

my surgery was suppose to be on july 28 and everyone know about it for 3 weeks, the on the 26 get a call that the doc will be unavalible. now because he does not get a lot of or time he is sending me to someone else who has more or time. he told me that since i am an emerg case it would be only a day or 2 at max but i still have not heard anything. now my boss is totally upset because i still need more time because i am not able to work at all yet because of all of the pain. i cant even walk accross the street. what do i do. help, how long do i wait before calling my do back.

I would call first thing on Tuesday morning! And keep on them until you get an answer. Explain the situation with work and say you can't put your life on hold any longer. If that doesn't work, seek out another Dr .at different practice if necessary. Sometimes you have to be your own advocate. Good Luck!

Definitely call the doctor's office. Sometimes it is easy to get lost in the shuffle, and you have to alert them of your situation.
