9 days post LSH and crying

I don't know what just happened. My daughters and I just went to the public library and I was talking to the woman about late fees and suddenly I had sweat running down my back and legs and an uncontollable urge to cry. I have my ovaries- why am I feeling like a mental case?

Re: 9 days post LSH and crying

I had the same kind of melt down around the same time but mine was over a $2 side of bacon at IHOP. I kept my ovaries as well; but happy to report that I have not had any or much of a problem since that day. I think it is mostly because your ovaries go through a shock during the surgery and they are finally coming out of that shock. I hope this helps to know you are not alone and that it will get better; and if it doesn't talk to your doctor about a RHT on a temporary basis.

Hugs to you!

Thank you so much for answering my post! I really felt like I was losing it today and of all places at the library! Not ready for the real world yet I guess!. Have a wonderful evening!

Re: 9 days post LSH and crying

I am 6 weeks post op and am still quite emotional. I think it I'd just that our hormones are all out of sinc. I took my 5th old dd to see Toy Story 3 at the cinema and cried my eyes out - was quite relieved when everyone else found it sad too! Hang in there hon and remember nothing is normal at the moment. Big hugs

Re: 9 days post LSH and crying

Thanks for posting this! I am just 4 days post-op, kept my ovaries, and I am having terrible mood swings. Crying over the most ridiculous things. It definitely feels hormonal (oddly enough, I'm also having sexy dreams!). I hope it doesn't last!
